Simply put, Montreal needed a place for sweet table aficionados to go and pick up all the things necessary to create gorgeous sweetscapes. It's not rocket science {ok maybe a little}, but to create a gorgeous spread with your fav sweets, there are certain elements you just cannot do without. In large part, the perfect cake stands ARE exactly that. Now, without having to go out and buy or even worse, FIND the perfect stands, there is a place for you to add, enter info, pay and voila.. wait to receive your rentals just in time for the big reveal. We're extremely excited to launch Principal Planner Rents, a division of Principal Planner {Azar Jazestani Events}. Montreal Sweet Table: Urban Design

HI HI!

This urban 'sweetscape' was created with an incredibly talented group of vendors {scroll down for list}. Miss Caketress and I were talking one day when she showed me a picture of an interior designed by Kelly Wearstler. The colours and trellis pattern really caught my eye and I immediately needed to create something inspired by it. As with any concept, ideas evolve and the end result is always something new. Personally, I think this sweet table is one of the most interesting ones we have designed to date. 

One of my fav elements: The painted 'paper pom pom' mural by my dear friend Margherita Terrone. Instead of the paper poms that have been DONE, we thought... paint them on! Have a look.

When Luisa Galuppo {Cake Designer Extraordinaire} called me to style her sister's album launch dessert table, I was honored... and psyched! Luisa made all the pretty sweets and I styled the whole thang. This was one successful sweet table! With Angela's bubbly personality, we had to have fun with this one and well... see for yourself!

Real Wedding: Negar + Gurdip

Hi Hi,

When Negar and Gurdip called me, I was so excited to work with them! I knew right away that no matter what, this was a wedding I wanted to be a part of. Being an Iranian girl myself, I was thrilled to finally work with someone who grew up with the same culture, eating the same food, listening to the same music and speaking the same language. I was also super excited to style their  sofreh aghd {persian ceremony spread}, which is such an important part of the day. As I was putting together the spread I couldn't help but think of the day where I myself will be walking down the aisle and sitting at my own sofreh! :)

One of the sweetest couples you will ever meet, these guys are really made for each other. The love this man has for his woman is palpable and to have been a part of this big day is something I will always cherish. Montreal Sweet Table

Hi Hi,

Hope you are enjoying your beautiful Friday afternoon and getting ready for a weekend full of debauchery! You know how we love our sweet tables and our designs have been popping up around  town at stylish events near you. 

Here's an engagement sweet table we did for a local planner a couple of months ago. We sat down with Selina of 'My Montreal Wedding' and her gorgeous client to discuss her needs for sweets. The party was taking place at Cafe Ferreira, a lovely Portuguese hot spot here in Montreal. We were to use a table with blue tiles and a color palette with coral tones, chocolate and golds. Here's what we came up with!
