Hope you are as happy as I am these days. With the holidays around the corner and all the festivities that are underway, I can't help, but feel like... LIFE IS GREAT!

In the new year I will be hosting a seminar, cleverly titled, So You Think You Can Plan! I'll be spending the day with 25 aspiring wedding planners/designers who are interested in setting up a profitable wedding planning business. Be your own boss- it really is a blessing.

Simple and Chic at The Loft

Hi guys,

Tonight's post will be a short one as we are quickly approaching our final wedding of the season this saturday. I cannot believe what a summer we have had. Filled with couples from around the world, big and small, lavish to intimate... weddings 2012 was truly memorable. Here's a little peek into Camille and Brian's gorgeous reception. They wanted it simple, no fuss, just chic and pretty. Delivered. :) I love this wedding.

 The ceremony backdrop was simple. We hung thick ribbon accessorized by rose heads off white drapes. So simple yet so romantic.

A tropical Inspired Sweet Table

Hi Hi,

It's no secret that i love sweets and sweet tables. I credit my failed diets to the fact that week after week, couples hire me to create beautiful dessert spreads for their weddings. A bit over a week ago we had the  honour of working with a couple from Miami. When they hired us, about a year ago, we knew it would be a treat working with them. A tropical theme wedding was sure to warm us all up, since the wedding date was set for Oct 6th. here's a look at the sweet table we created for them. {ps: it was featured today on Amy Atlas's Blog!}

An Intimate Wedding

Hi!

Wedding season is still in full swing and things have been cray cray to say the least, BUT, I'm back and ready to show off some of our newest work. 

Last November we had the serious pleasure of planning Melanie and Vince's gorgeous wedding. We planned the whole affair in 43 days and it was definitely a night we won't forget. Having one of my best friends as the photographer (Monique Simone Photography), we had a serious blast pulling this one off. When the wedding was all done, we sent over the pics to the motherland, Martha Stewart weddings and you can imagine our immense excitement when they decided to run the wedding in their upcoming winter issue of Martha Stewart Weddings!!!!! Monique and I died a little. It was the most exciting moment of my wedding planning career to be quite honest. Unfortunately, our couple chose to pass on the feature, but we are still full of excitement at the fact that the peeps over at MSW wanted to share these gorgeous images with their readers. 

With so many beautiful weddings every year, we're sure we'll have another opportunity to hit the pages of Martha in the near future! (Fingers crossed!) For now, here are some pictures from that special night.

Isabelle + David: A Principal Planner Wedding

Good... morning? (currently 2:45am)

I just finished emailing back and forth with Isabelle and David, who are one of our couples from last season. This sweet couple currently lives in Vancouver and planning their wedding from a distance last year didn't stop us from becoming great friends! I had a blast spending months going through all the details and when the day finally came, we couldn't be happier with how everything turned out.
